Its attacks are often telegraphed by the color of its horns and wings, indicating which element it is currently channeling. Mastering the art of elemental switching and exploiting its brief elemental vulnerabilities is paramount to survival.
Key Weaknesses and Resistances
Alatreon's elemental weakness shifts throughout the fight. Initially, it is weak to Dragon. However, if it is not weakened sufficiently by Dragon element, it will become resistant to Dragon and weak to other elements. It is highly resistant to all other elements when not in its elemental-weakened state. For status effects, it is susceptible to Blast. It has a high resistance to Poison, Paralysis, and Sleep. Its head is its primary weak point.

Pay attention to the color of its wings and horns to identify its current element. If its horns are black, it's channeling Dragon. If they are red, it's Fire, blue for Ice, yellow for Thunder, and green for Water. Adapt your strategy and elemental damage accordingly.
