Moving Out Overview
Moving Out is a chaotic and hilarious physics-based moving simulator where players take on the role of Furniture Arrangement and Relocation Technicians (F.A.R.Ts). The game challenges players to pack and move various items, from small appliances to large furniture, out of houses and into a moving truck. Success hinges on speed, efficiency, and often, a disregard for property damage. The core gameplay loop involves navigating increasingly complex environments, interacting with objects, and coordinating with teammates (or AI) to achieve the objective within a strict time limit. Each level presents unique environmental hazards and item placements, demanding creative problem-solving and sometimes, brute force.
The game features a robust main story with 30 distinct levels, each with its own set of challenges and objectives. To achieve a gold medal on a level, players must complete it within a specific time limit. Beyond the primary goal, each level also offers three bonus objectives that provide additional challenges and rewards. These bonus objectives can be tackled after a gold medal has been secured, allowing players to focus on them without the pressure of the initial time constraint. Furthermore, the game incorporates numerous hidden collectibles and specific items to find, such as hidden consoles, mailboxes, and even toilets, adding layers of exploration and replayability. The variety of items to move, from the mundane to the absurd, contributes to the game's comedic tone and unpredictable gameplay. Players will encounter different animal types and environmental elements that can affect their moving strategy.
