This is where you can really make the team your own, either by tweaking the players you've drafted or building a brand new superstar from scratch. If you've got an open spot on your roster, you can use those hard-earned Attribute Points to craft a player exactly how you want them.

Attribute Points: The Key to Power

Before we start tweaking, you need to know about Attribute Points. You get 60 to start with, but here's the cool part: you'll earn more points by playing and winning games, or by nailing those Trivia Questions. Just remember, these points are only awarded if you're playing in Franchise Mode, so keep that in mind!

Creating Your Player: Step-by-Step

When you head into the 'Customize Player' menu, you'll see a few options to play with:

• Body: This is where you'll find all the physical attributes. Use the D-pad Up or Down to scroll through the different options, then Left or Right to adjust them. Hit the A button when you're happy with your changes.
• Nickname: Want your player to have a cool in-game name? Use the D-pad Up or Down to pick one from the list. The announcer will actually use this name during games, which is a neat touch!
• Attributes: This is the main event for boosting your player's skills. Just like with 'Body,' use the D-pad Up or Down to select an attribute and Left or Right to increase or decrease its strength. Keep an eye on the colors: Red means weak, yellow is fair, and green is strong. Also, always check the remaining Attribute Points at the bottom – they go down as you spend them!
• Name: Time to give your player a proper identity. All their stats will be tracked under this name. You'll use the D-pad (Up, Down, Left, Right) to highlight letters and press A to select them. If you mess up, hit DEL to backspace. Once you're done typing, press END.
• Number: Pick a jersey number for your player using the D-pad to highlight digits and the A button to select them. Just like with the name, you'll type out the number you want.
