Navigate Part 14 of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, including Test of Valor One of White and the Giga Death boss battle.

Continue up the path and rocky steps, using a double Wall Run to reach Muramasa's Statue. After stocking up, clear out ninjas and archers to activate TEST OF VALOR #1. Approach the Save Statue and SAVE your game.

    Use a Wall Run to reach the Test of Valor portal across from the Save Statue.

Boss Battle: The Giga Death

The Giga Death is encased in metal, making its face the only vulnerable point. Use the Fiend's Bane Bow and aim for its face with a Level 2 charged shot. Maintain distance to avoid its painful attacks. Dodge its fireballs and Mini-Me attacks with evasive roll jumps. Each successful Level 2 charged shot to the face deals approximately 10% damage. When the boss's health drops to 20%, rush over and finish it with an Obliteration.

Area: Lower Subway West

Objective: Fight Your Way Out of the Subway

Traverse the subway tracks, eliminating ninjas and Warlocks. Jump down to the lower tracks and fight more ninjas. Continue towards the station terminal, fighting Van Gelf enemies.

Area: Station Terminal

Take the stairs to the top of the subway terminal to find the Save Statue and SAVE your game. Eliminate the ninjas and Warlocks that appear. Access chests behind metal fences through iron bar doors for goodies. Enter the terminal office for more items. Exit the terminal and grab arrows from a dead body. Use a charged arrow on explosive barrels above the stairs to open the path.

Tips
  • Be sure you're stocked and ready before attempting the Test of Valor.
  • Once you jump down to the lower subway, you cannot go back.
  • Keep your distance from the Giga Death and aim for its face with Level 2 charged shots from the Fiend's Bane Bow.
  • Use evasive roll jumps to avoid the Giga Death's attacks.
  • Be prepared for some damage from the Giga Death's attacks, even when evading.
  • Grab all the goodies from the chests in the station terminal.
