From basic elements to complex manufactured goods, these resources fuel your journey.

Raw Materials:

These are the fundamental elements found directly in the environment, gathered through mining, harvesting, or combat. They are the building blocks for most other items.

• Carbon: Found by mining plants. Essential for fuel, basic crafting, and life support.
• Ferrite Dust: Mined from rocks. Used for building structures and basic repairs.
• Oxygen: Found in plants or gathered from the atmosphere. Crucial for life support and jetpack fuel.
• Sodium: Found in plants. Used to recharge hazard protection.
• Ammonia: Found in certain plants. Used for crafting and life support.
• Dioxite: Found in ice formations. Used for crafting and life support.
• Uranium: Found in glowing deposits. Used for warp drive fuel.
• Emeril, Cadmium, Indium: Rare metals found on specific planet types (red, yellow, blue stars respectively). Essential for advanced warp drives and high-tier crafting.

Refined Products:

These are created by processing raw materials in a Refiner (either portable or base-mounted) or through specific crafting recipes. Refining often yields more valuable or potent versions of materials.

• Condensed Carbon: Refined from Carbon. Burns longer as fuel.
• Purified Carbon: Refined from Condensed Carbon. Used in advanced crafting.
• Dioxite: Can be refined from Frost Crystal.
• Ammonia: Can be refined from Fungal Mould.
• Antimatter: Crafted from Condensed Carbon and Gamma Root. Essential for warp drive fuel.
• Antimatter Housing: Crafted from Antimatter and Ferrite Dust. Used in advanced crafting.
• Circuit Board: Crafted from various refined materials. A high-value trade commodity.
• Living Glass: Crafted from Lubricant and Glass. Another highly valuable trade commodity.

Crafting Interface:

The crafting interface is accessed through your inventory or specific crafting stations. It displays available blueprints and the required materials. You can craft items directly if you have the necessary components.

Acquiring Blueprints:

Blueprints are learned through various means:

• Main Missions: Many essential blueprints are unlocked as part of the primary questline.
• Manufacturing Facilities: Successfully raiding these facilities can reward you with new blueprints.
• Research Stations: Found in space stations, these allow you to spend Nanites to unlock blueprints.
