The UI in Observer is minimalistic, designed to immerse you in the experience. Your primary HUD elements are located at the bottom left of the screen. Here, you'll find your Synchronization (Sync) Meter, represented by a brain icon. This meter depletes when you experience disturbing events or use your vision modes excessively, and if it drops too low, Daniel will suffer adverse effects, including visual distortions and even death. To replenish Sync, you'll need to consume Synchrozine, which can be found throughout the environment. The bottom right displays your current objective and any contextual prompts for interaction. When using your vision modes (EM and Bio-Vision), specific indicators will appear on screen to highlight points of interest. The inventory can be accessed via Tab, allowing you to review collected documents, items, and your current case files. Pay close attention to the subtle visual cues and audio prompts, as they often provide critical information without cluttering the screen. The game's design encourages you to rely on your senses and observation skills rather than a complex UI.
