Alright, let's dive into the story mode of Party Animals, called 'Missions'. It's basically your intro to the game's world, and you'll be playing as Nemo throughout. There are three main missions, and thankfully, no more are planned, so you can focus on these! ### The Lab This one's pretty straightforward – it's basically the game's tutorial. If you've played through the tutorial before, you'll find this mission has the exact same story and gameplay. Just follow along to get the hang of things. ### Blacksails This mission kicks off after Nemo fails to escape the lab and gets captured. You'll wake up in a cage on a pirate ship captained by Harry, with Max right beside you. Things get wild fast when bombs hit the ship, freeing you and Max. Soon, a pirate ship shows up, and Tuskaars start attacking. Don't worry if you don't get out of the cage right away; they'll eventually throw you out. Watch out for a pirate Dodo lighting a cannon – you'll need to throw that bomb back to take them out! After a few more pirate scuffles, the enemy ship will start bombing yours. You'll need to use another cannon to fire back. Things get really hairy when a Kraken attacks! You'll need to grab a blue Crossbow to fend off its tentacles. After that, it's a cycle of fighting waves of pirates (including Tuskaars, Dodos, Hammers, and Cocos), throwing bombs back, and firing bombs at the enemy ship until it sinks. Keep an eye out for Captain Bruce too! ### Castaway After escaping the pirates in Blacksails, your ship unfortunately sinks, leaving Nemo stranded on a desert island. You'll initially think Harry and Max are gone, but you'll soon discover the island is actually a pirate base – the same crew you just dealt with! Your goal is to push through using bombs, taking out three pirates to reach a poisonous gas cloud. You'll need to dropkick it away. Then, you'll face rolling boulders on a hill. After that, more pirates await, followed by another gas cloud you'll need to roll through. Keep pushing across piers and bridges, but watch out! A boulder will collapse the bridge you're crossing, so be ready to make a quick escape. You'll navigate more boulder hills and dodge incoming bombs. Eventually, you'll find a path that seems 'wrong,' leading to a cave. Inside, you'll find pirate treasure and a mysterious metal door with a symbol matching the facility that captured you. This leads to lasers and more pirates. Dodge carefully and defeat them all. After that, you'll enter another metal door and discover the whole island ordeal, including the pirates and near-death experiences, was orchestrated by an enraged facility run by Garfat, who wants you dead. You'll have to fight through hordes of Barbies and Shins, then face a second laser puzzle with Terminators chasing you. Narrowly escaping, you'll find a part of the facility suspended over lava. Dodge swinging rocks and soldiers (Barbies, Shins, and Bobs) before reaching a boxing ring. Garfat reveals himself here and sends his goons. Throw them into the lava! Garfat then activates a cannon and starts firing bombs. In this boss fight, you'll need to throw bombs at Garfat while dodging falling boulders and bombs from drones, and occasionally fighting off more goons. When Garfat's health drops to half, he'll start dropping flaming boulders and rocks that cause deadly shockwaves. At about 3/8 health, Garfat drops his remote, gets out of his chair, and jumps into the ring. The fight becomes similar to the Coco fight from the original tutorial, but Garfat wakes up instantly. Once you deplete his health, he dies, and a door opens. Inside, you'll find a sofa, a game controller, and the main menu options like 'Quick Match', 'Custom Game', 'Missions', 'Locker', and 'Settings'. Nemo then sits down and starts gaming, which is actually a representation of the main menu! Trivia Note: Keep an eye out for a volleyball named 'Wilson' during the Castaway mission after the pier – picking it up unlocks the 'Hey Wilson' achievement! It's a fun nod to the movie *Castaway*.
