Requests 21-30
This section details the walkthrough for Requests 21 through 30. These requests often involve exploring new areas, catching specific Pokémon, or gathering rare items. Pay close attention to the details for each request to maximize your efficiency and rewards.
Request 21: To Bloom or Not to Bloom
- Requester: Kichi (Jubilife Village, near the front gate)
- Objective: Help Kichi learn about Cherrim.
- Walkthrough:
- Speak to Kichi in Jubilife Village to accept the request.
- Cherrim can be found in several locations, but the most reliable spots are:
- Obsidian Fieldlands: The Heartwood (shake trees).
- Crimson Mirelands: Gapejaw Bog (shake trees).
- Coronet Highlands: Fabled Spring (shake trees).
- Cherrim is a shy Pokémon and often hides in trees. Look for trees that are shaking vigorously and throw a Pokémon at them to initiate a battle.
- Catch a Cherrim. Its appearance changes based on the weather, but any form will satisfy the request.
- Return to Kichi in Jubilife Village and show him your Cherrim.
- Reward: 2x Exp. Candy S, 1x Vivichoke
Request 22: Eerie Apparitions in the Night
- Requester: Vessa (Jubilife Village, near the river)
- Objective: Collect all 107 Wisps scattered across Hisui.
- Walkthrough:
- Accept the request from Vessa in Jubilife Village. This request is a long-term endeavor.
- Vessa will give you the Odd Keystone, which tracks your Wisp collection progress.
- Wisps are glowing purple flames that appear only at night. They are hidden in every region of Hisui, including Jubilife Village.
- You will need to explore every nook and cranny of each area. Utilize your ride Pokémon (Wyrdeer, Basculegion, Sneasler, Braviary) to reach high and distant locations.
- As you collect Wisps, return to Vessa periodically to receive rewards:
- 20 Wisps: 1x Exp. Candy M
- 30 Wisps: 1x Seed of Mastery
- 40 Wisps: 1x Exp. Candy L
- 50 Wisps: 1x Oval Stone
- 60 Wisps: 2x Grit Pebble
- 70 Wisps: 2x Exp. Candy XL
- 80 Wisps: 3x Grit Rock
- 90 Wisps: 1x Comet Shard
- 100 Wisps: 3x Grit Rock
- 107 Wisps: Spiritomb encounter (Level 60)
- After collecting all 107 Wisps, return to Vessa one last time. She will lead you to the Shrouded Ruins in the Crimson Mirelands, where you can encounter and catch Spiritomb.
- Reward: Varies based on Wisp count, culminating in a Spiritomb encounter.
Request 23: The Taste of Home
- Requester: Radisa (Jubilife Village, near the farm)
- Objective: Help Radisa find a taste of home by bringing her a specific mushroom.
- Walkthrough:
- Speak to Radisa in Jubilife Village. She's looking for a mushroom that reminds her of her homeland.
- The mushroom she describes is a Springy Mushroom.
- Springy Mushrooms can be found in the Obsidian Fieldlands, particularly around the Deertrack Path and Windswept Run. They often grow at the base of trees or near rocks.
- Collect one Springy Mushroom.
- Return to Radisa in Jubilife Village and give her the mushroom.
- Reward: 3x Poké Ball, 3x Revive
Request 24: The Darkest Day
- Requester: Sanqua (Jubilife Village, in front of the General Store)
- Objective: Sanqua wants to see a Pokémon that can use the move "Dark Pulse."
- Walkthrough:
- Talk to Sanqua in Jubilife Village.
- You need to show her a Pokémon that knows the move Dark Pulse.
- Several Pokémon can learn Dark Pulse, but some of the earliest and easiest to obtain include:
- Zorua/Zoroark: Found in Alabaster Icelands (Space-time Distortions or Bonechill Wastes). Zoroark naturally learns Dark Pulse at higher levels.
- Umbreon: Evolve Eevee with high friendship at night. Umbreon can learn Dark Pulse via the Move Tutor or by leveling up.
- Gastly/Haunter/Gengar: Gastly can be found in Crimson Mirelands (Golden Lowlands, Gapejaw Bog) and Coronet Highlands (Sacred Plaza). Gengar can learn Dark Pulse.
- Once you have a Pokémon that knows Dark Pulse, add it to your party.
- Speak to Sanqua again and select the Pokémon that knows Dark Pulse.
- Reward: 1x Black Augurite
Request 25: The Pokémon That Never Sleeps
- Requester: Cylene (Jubilife Village, Galaxy Hall, Commander's office)
- Objective: Cylene wants to observe a Pokémon that is always awake.
- Walkthrough:
- Accept the request from Cylene in Commander Kamado's office in Galaxy Hall.
- The Pokémon she is looking for is Murkrow. Murkrow are known to be nocturnal and active throughout the night.
- Murkrow can be found in the Crimson Mirelands, specifically in the Gapejaw Bog and the Cottonsedge Meadow, but only at night.
- Travel to the Crimson Mirelands and wait until nightfall.
- Locate and catch a Murkrow.
- Return to Cylene in Galaxy Hall and show her your Murkrow.
- Reward: 1x Stardust, 2x Super Potion
Request 26: The Sea's Legend
- Requester: Professor Laventon (Jubilife Village, Galaxy Hall, his lab)
- Objective: Investigate a mysterious legend about the sea.
- Walkthrough:
- Speak to Professor Laventon in his lab after reading the book "The Sea's Legend" in the library in Jubilife Village. This book becomes available after reaching the Cobalt Coastlands.
- The legend refers to "a Pokémon of the sea," "a giant of the sea," and "three small Pokémon." This is a cryptic clue for Manaphy, Phione, and specific Pokémon in your party.
- You need to have the following Pokémon in your party:
- Buizel: Found in Obsidian Fieldlands (Horseshoe Plains, Windswept Run) or Cobalt Coastlands (Ginkgo Landing).
- Mantyke: Found in Cobalt Coastlands (Ginkgo Landing, Tranquility Cove).
- Overqwil: Evolve Hisuian Qwilfish after using Barb Barrage in Agile Style 20 times. Hisuian Qwilfish is found in Cobalt Coastlands (Tranquility Cove, Islespy Shore).
- Once you have Buizel, Mantyke, and Overqwil in your party, travel to the Cobalt Coastlands.
- Head to the Coastlands Camp and then proceed to the Seagrass Haven area, specifically the two large rock formations that resemble horns, near the tip of the peninsula.
- Pass through the "horns" of Seagrass Haven with the three required Pokémon in your party during evening or morning (dawn/dusk). You will hear a distinct sound effect if done correctly.
- After hearing the sound, a message will appear indicating that a mysterious presence has appeared at the Seaside Hollow.
- Travel to the Seaside Hollow, a cave located on the northern coast of the Cobalt Coastlands, just west of Veilstone Cape.
- Inside the cave, you will find a Manaphy and three Phione. You will need to battle and catch them. Be prepared for a multi-Pokémon battle.
- Reward: 3x Comet Shard
Request 27: Gone Astray
- Requester: Sanqua (Jubilife Village, in front of the General Store)
- Objective: Find Sanqua's missing sister, Wanda.
- Walkthrough:
- Speak to Sanqua in Jubilife Village. She's worried about her sister, Wanda, who has gone missing in the Obsidian Fieldlands.
- Travel to the Obsidian Fieldlands.
- Wanda can be found near the Heights Camp, specifically on a ledge overlooking the river, just south of the camp. You might need to use Wyrdeer to jump up or climb.
- Speak to Wanda. She'll ask you to get her back to the village.
- Return to Jubilife Village and speak to Sanqua to inform her that Wanda is safe.
- Reward: 1x Aux Power, 1x Aux Guard
Request 28: Gone Astray in the Mirelands
- Requester: Sanqua (Jubilife Village, in front of the General Store)
- Objective: Find Wanda again, this time in the Crimson Mirelands.
- Walkthrough:
- After completing Request 27, speak to Sanqua again in Jubilife Village. Wanda has gone missing once more.
- Travel to the Crimson Mirelands.
- Wanda is located in the Gapejaw Bog area. She's typically found on a small island or elevated patch of land in the bog, often surrounded by aggressive Pokémon.
- Approach Wanda and speak to her.
- Return to Jubilife Village and report back to Sanqua.
- Reward: 2x Bean Cake, 2x Grain Cake
Request 29: Gone Astray in the Coastlands
- Requester: Sanqua (Jubilife Village, in front of the General Store)
- Objective: Find Wanda a third time, this time in the Cobalt Coastlands.
- Walkthrough:
- After completing Request 28, speak to Sanqua in Jubilife Village. Wanda is missing yet again.
- Travel to the Cobalt Coastlands.
- Wanda is located on the small island known as Ginkgo Landing, near the beach. You'll need to use Basculegion to reach her.
- Speak to Wanda on the island.
- Return to Jubilife Village and inform Sanqua of Wanda's safety.
- Reward: 1x Fine Candy, 1x Sticky Gloom
Request 30: Gone Astray in the Highlands
- Requester: Sanqua (Jubilife Village, in front of the General Store)
- Objective: Find Wanda for the fourth time, now in the Coronet Highlands.
- Walkthrough:
- After completing Request 29, speak to Sanqua in Jubilife Village. Wanda has wandered off to the Coronet Highlands.
- Travel to the Coronet Highlands.
- Wanda is located near the Sacred Plaza, specifically on a high ledge or cliff face that requires Sneasler or Braviary to reach. Look for her near the ruins.
- Speak to Wanda.
- Return to Jubilife Village and report back to Sanqua. This concludes the "Gone Astray" series of requests.
- Reward: 1x Grit Gravel, 1x Max Revive
