Snagging Shadow Sudowoodo

Shadow Sudowoodo is one of the earlier Shadow Pokémon you'll encounter in Pokémon Colosseum, often used by Cipher members in the early stages of the game. While not as powerful as some later Shadow Pokémon, it still requires a strategic approach to snag effectively. Sudowoodo is a Rock-type Pokémon, making it weak to Water, Grass, Ground, and Steel-type attacks.

When facing Shadow Sudowoodo, your primary objective is to weaken it sufficiently to be able to snag it with a Poké Ball. Avoid knocking it out. Pokémon with strong Water or Grass-type attacks will be highly effective in reducing its HP quickly. Be mindful of its moveset; while it's a Rock-type, it can learn several attacks. If you have a Pokémon that can inflict paralysis or sleep, this can greatly increase your chances of a successful snag by limiting its ability to attack or escape. Once snagged, remember that Shadow Sudowoodo, like all Shadow Pokémon, will need to be purified in Agate Village to unlock its full potential and allow it to evolve.
