Main Walkthrough
The main walkthrough for Post Trauma involves navigating through various acts, solving puzzles, and making critical decisions that influence the game's ending. From exploring a mysterious underground maze to confronting the final boss, each act presents unique challenges and objectives. This guide details key locations, item placements, and puzzle solutions to help you through Roman's journey.
Act 1: Subway Tunnel
Begin by moving through the subway tunnel. Interact with the side of the walkway without railing to pull up. You can examine the drink machine for a description. As you cross the next part of the walkway, a camera angle from inside the subway train will provide a cinematic view. Upon reaching a T-intersection in a tunnel, do not enter it immediately. Instead, run to the other side of the current walkway to find and pick up Used Tape A from the third yellow seat from the left.
Act 4: The Maze
Upon entering the Underground Maze, you'll find yourself in a cave tunnel. Run towards the light ahead, but do not go left at the first turn. In the area with the orange light, locate a radio, an item box, and a map on the wall between them. This map is crucial for navigation, showing walls in white and corridors as the spaces in between. Your entrance portal is in the southeast. You need to find two keys: one in the southwest and another in the northwest, both marked with a key symbol on the map. A Used Tape is located in the northeast. The door on the west side of the middle portion of the map requires both keys to unlock. Question marks indicate areas of interest with special objects, some of which are not labeled on the map.
Act 5: Final Area - Subway Train & Arena
In the subway train segment, you control the train's speed, which determines the ending. Speeding up the train and killing Jill results in Ending A. Slowing down the train to save Jill leads to Ending B. Use the directional pad to control the handle: up to circle left and speed up, down to circle right and slow down. Following this, you'll face the "Abomination" in a circular arena. This is a puzzle, not a direct combat encounter. You control Roman and Freya (switch with RB when Roman holds a lever). The Abomination is a tentacle creature in the center. Dodge its ground slams by running to the side or to the far edges of the arena where it cannot reach. To start the puzzle, run towards the back wall to the left from your starting position. Locate a collapsed, cracked pillar on the floor to the left. Position Roman near this pillar and allow the Abomination to smash it, revealing a revolving mechanism. Find a lever near the wall further ahead; the boss cannot hit Roman while he's near it. Interact with the lever to hold it, which moves a border away from a console in front of Freya. Switch to Freya (RB) to continue the puzzle.
