Chapter 1: The Awakening begins with Roman in an underground cave tunnel. Your immediate goal is to move toward the light ahead, but be cautious not to turn left at the first intersection. This initial area introduces important navigational tools and resources that will be essential for the challenges ahead.

Upon entering the cave tunnel, proceed toward the light. Do not go left at the first turn. In the area illuminated by an orange light, you will discover a radio, an item box, and a map displayed on the wall between them. This map provides a comprehensive overview of the maze, with white lines representing walls and the spaces between them as corridors. Your entry point is marked in the southeast. The map also highlights the locations of two essential keys, one in the southwest and another in the northwest, both indicated by a key symbol. Your current position is shown by map and radio symbols on the east side of the central map area. A door on the west side of the central area requires both keys to unlock. Additionally, a Used Tape is located in the northeast, and question marks (?) indicate areas of interest with special objects that can help you orient yourself, though not all are explicitly labeled on the map.
