Welcome to the Umbrella Lab! This final area is crawling with dangers and intricate puzzles designed to test your resolve. Stay sharp, conserve your ammunition, and follow these steps to uncover the truth and escape this nightmare.

Activating the Power

Upon entering the lab, your first objective is to restore power to the facility. Without it, many critical doors and devices will remain inoperable.

1. From the main entrance, head through the double doors into the central corridor.
2. Proceed to the far end and enter the door on the right, leading to the Power Generator Room.
3. Inside, you'll find a large control panel. Interact with it to initiate the power-up sequence.
4. A series of lights will illuminate. You need to activate the power in a specific order. The correct sequence is usually indicated by a subtle clue in the environment or a document found nearby. If no explicit clue is present, try activating them from left to right, or follow the pattern: Red, Green, Blue, Yellow.
5. Once the power is restored, you'll hear a distinct hum, and the lights in the lab will brighten.

The MO Disk Puzzle

The MO Disk is crucial for accessing certain areas and information. You'll need to find and use it correctly.

1. With power restored, return to the central corridor. You'll notice a previously locked door is now accessible.
2. Enter the newly opened door, which leads to the Research Office.
3. On a desk in this room, you will find the MO Disk. Be wary of any lurking zombies or Hunters that may have been activated by the power.
4. Now, you need to find a terminal to use the MO Disk. Head back to the main lab area and look for the Computer Room, usually located off a side corridor from the central hub.
5. Insert the MO Disk into the computer terminal. This will grant you access to valuable data and potentially unlock further areas. Pay close attention to any files you can read; they often contain clues for upcoming puzzles.

The V-ACTOR Puzzle (Chris Only)

If you are playing as Chris, you will encounter a specific puzzle involving the V-ACTOR virus. This is essential for progressing.

1. After using the MO Disk, you'll likely gain access to the Incubation Room.
2. Inside, you'll find several incubation tanks. One of them contains the V-ACTOR Sample.
3. You need to combine this sample with a specific chemical. Search the surrounding lab rooms for the Chemical Storage Room.
4. Locate the Mixing Apparatus within the Chemical Storage Room.
5. Use the V-ACTOR Sample with the Mixing Apparatus. You will need to input a specific formula or sequence of chemicals. The formula is typically found in a document like the Researcher's Notes, often located in the Research Office or a nearby lab. The correct combination usually involves adding a neutralizing agent.
6. Once successfully mixed, you will obtain the V-ACTOR Neutralizer. This item is critical for a later encounter.

The Fuse Box Puzzle (Jill Only)

As Jill, your path may diverge slightly, often involving a fuse box puzzle to open a critical door.

1. After restoring power and using the MO Disk, look for a door with a faulty lock, often requiring additional power or a bypass. This is typically the entrance to the B2 Level Access.
2. Near this door, you'll find a Fuse Box.
3. You'll need to locate the missing Fuse Unit. This is often found in a small storage room or a locker in the Maintenance Corridor, which branches off the main lab area.
4. Once you have the Fuse Unit, return to the Fuse Box.
5. Insert the Fuse Unit into the Fuse Box. You may need to arrange the fuses in a specific pattern or flip a series of switches to restore power to the door. The correct pattern is usually a simple visual puzzle or indicated by a diagram on the fuse box itself.
6. Upon successful completion, the door to the B2 Level will unlock, allowing you to proceed deeper into the lab.
