• File #1 - Letter from Best Friend: This one's a gimme – you'll get it automatically in your inventory right when Claire A begins.
• File #2 – Uses of Gunpowder: Head to the West Office; this File is sitting on a brown desk.
• File #3 – Raccoon Monthly, June Issue: You can snag this in the Elevator Controls Room.
• File #4 – copy of Emails to Chief Irons: Make your way to the Chief’s Office on the second floor of the Police Station to find this one.
• File #5 – Taxidermy Log: Also in the Chief’s Office, this File is right in the middle of the room, resting on a table.
• File #6 – Repair Shop Letter: On the second floor, look for the Private Collection Room. The File is on a shelf inside.

Orphanage Files

• File #7 – Sally’s Diary: Once you reach the orphanage during Sherry’s part of the story, go into the hallway outside the bedroom you start in. Hang a right, and you'll find this File on a table.
• File #8 – Tom’s Diary: You'll find this File sitting on a table in the Front Hall.
• File #9 – extit{[Blank]’s Diary}: This File is located next to the typewriter in the Director’s Room.
• File #10 – Letter from the Director: Check inside the Bathroom that's off the Nursery.

Laboratory Files

• File #11 - Report About “G”: After you've rescued Sherry and she's safe in the Laboratory, head to the Sewers. This File is in the Office there, pinned to a board right next to a Typewriter.
• File #12 – IMPORTANT NEST-Wide Alert: Once Sherry is tucked in at the Laboratory, head to the Security Room and check the PC for this File.
