Walkthrough
- 1After the opening cutscenes, gain control of Jill Valentine in her apartment. Interact with the sink in the bathroom for a scene.
- 2Return to the bathroom and flick the switch to the right of the mirror to switch the camera to third-person view.
- 3In Jill's living room, use the switch next to the notice board to turn on the lights. Collect the files: Jill's Report (1/56) and Investigation Notes (2/56).
- 4Check the shelf to the left of the noticeboard for the file Unsealed Envelope (3/56).
- 5Examine the counter in the kitchen area for the file Message from a Colleague (4/56).
- 6Answer the phone in Jill's apartment to proceed.
- 7After the scene, run down the corridor, duck into another apartment, and push a heavy shelf down.
- 8Go to the living room and climb through the open window.
- 9Go down the fire escape and climb through another open window. Nemesis will crash through the ceiling. After escaping, make your way down the burning corridor towards the fire exit.
- 10Go down two flights of stairs and approach the ladder. Nemesis will catch up; keep running from him. When you get through the door at the end, the ceiling will collapse on him, unlocking the First Escape trophy.
- 11Make your way down to the end of the alley to meet Brad Vickers. Follow him and press L3 to start running when prompted.
- 12When zombies break through the fence, run over to Brad, staying to the left.
- 13Head into Bar Jack. Brad will get bitten and tell Jill to get to safety.
- 14Make your way through the alley, where Jill will automatically grab a pistol.
- 15A zombie will appear; it's better to run past it. Duck under the falling sign and turn left into the next alley.
- 16Head through the door into a warehouse to meet Dario Rosso. Interact with his locked container to speak to him until you unlock the Fuggedaboutim! record.
- 17Pick up Handgun Ammo (x7) from on top of a barrel and leave through the other door.
- 18Crawl under the broken fence and cross the road to a parking lot. Two zombies will appear as you approach the elevator.
- 19Back up to evade the walking zombie, run around them, and take the elevator up.
- 20Run towards the helicopter; Nemesis will appear. Jill will jump in a car. Press X three times to start the engine.
- 21Hold R2 to accelerate and drive the car into Nemesis, off the roof.
- 22During the subsequent scene, Carlos Oliveira will fire a rocket at Nemesis. This unlocks the Somebody to Lean On trophy.
- 23Before following Carlos into the station, head back up the stairs. Find the Charlie Doll (1/20) between two vending machines and shoot it to unlock the Hello, Charlie! trophy.
- 24Run back down the stairs and follow Carlos through the door he opens.
- 25Follow Carlos into the railway carriage to meet Mikhail Viktor.
- 26Jill agrees to help get the subway train moving.
- 27Leave the carriage and find the file U.B.C.S. Ammo Crafting Guide (5/56) on the seats.
- 28Head upstairs and search the newsstand for the file Tabloid Front Page (6/56).
- 29Continue up the next flight of stairs. Collect Green Herb (x2) and Gunpowder (x2) from crates.
- 30Combine the two Gunpowders to create Handgun Ammo (30 on Assisted, 15 on Standard) and unlock the Basic Chemistry trophy.
- 31Note the locked box nearby; it requires a lockpick.
- 32Head through the gate to a Safe Room. Check the table for the file U.B.C.S. Field Herb Manual (7/56).
- 33Use the Typewriter to save your game.
