Location: Armory (Chapter 7), later encounters

The Garrador is a blind, armored enemy with massive claws. It relies on sound to locate Leon.

Attack Patterns:

  • Claw Swipes: Wide, powerful swings with its claws.
  • Charge: Charges forward, impaling anything in its path.
  • Roar: Disorients Leon and can attract other enemies.

Strategy:

  1. Silence is Key: Move silently (crouch walk) to avoid detection.
  2. Target the Plaga: Its only weak point is the exposed Plaga on its back.
  3. Distraction: Shoot bells or other noisy objects in the environment to distract it, then sneak up and stab the Plaga with your knife or shoot it.
  4. Flash Grenades: A Flash Grenade will stun the Garrador, giving you a large window to attack its back.
  5. Powerful Weapons: Use your shotgun or magnum for maximum damage when its weak point is exposed.

Weakness:

  • The exposed Plaga on its back.

Recommended Weapons:

  • Combat Knife (for stealth stabs)
  • Shotgun (for burst damage)
  • Magnum (for high damage)
  • Flash Grenades (essential for stunning)
