Demolition Bomb Site Strategies

In Rogue Company's Demolition mode, securing and defending bomb sites is paramount to victory. Each site presents unique strategic challenges and opportunities. For Site A, often found in open areas like the Courtyard on Highrise, controlling sightlines is key. Utilizing characters like Dallas with his Intruder ability can provide valuable intel on enemy pushes, allowing your team to set up crossfires. Defenders should prioritize establishing a strong presence early, perhaps with a well-placed C4 charge to deter attackers. Attackers, conversely, need to coordinate their push, using utility like Glitch's Technological Disruption to disable defensive gadgets. Site B, frequently located in more confined spaces such as the Boiler Room on Stacks, demands close-quarters combat proficiency. Defenders might employ Trench's Barricade to create choke points, forcing attackers into predictable paths. Attackers will need to breach these defenses effectively, perhaps by using Phantom's Sniper Rifle to pick off defenders from a distance before committing to the objective. Remember that the bomb itself has a planting time of 5 seconds and a defuse time of 7.5 seconds. Successfully planting the bomb and defending it for 45 seconds results in a win, while defusing it before detonation also secures the round. Understanding the map layouts and the strengths of each Rogue is crucial for mastering bomb site control.

  • Site A (Highrise Courtyard): Focus on long-range engagements and controlling open sightlines. Dallas's Intruder is excellent for early warnings.
  • Site B (Stacks Boiler Room): Prioritize close-quarters combat and breaching fortified positions. Trench's Barricade can be a significant obstacle.
  • Bomb Mechanics: Planting takes 5 seconds, defusing takes 7.5 seconds. A planted bomb detonates after 45 seconds.

Common mistakes include attackers rushing in without intel, allowing defenders to easily pick them off, and defenders overextending, leaving the bomb site vulnerable to a quick plant. Effective communication is vital; call out enemy positions, gadget usage, and intentions to coordinate pushes and defenses. For example, if an enemy Rogue is seen using a Semtex, relaying that information can help your team avoid its devastating impact.
