Sekiro: The One-Armed Wolf

You awaken to find your missing limb replaced by a prosthetic, granting access to ingenious gadgets. The tengu names you Sekiro, the one-armed wolf, tasking you with rescuing your lord and reclaiming honor. Your journey as Wolf, a loyal yet ferocious ninja, takes you through the perilous land of Ashina, equipped with a deadly and useful Prosthetic Tool.

The game begins with a cutscene depicting a battle in northern Japan, where a young man is taken as an apprentice by The Owl for Shinobi Training. This man becomes known as Wolf and is bound as a retainer to Kuro, the Divine Heir. Later named Sekiro, he is calm and quiet but capable of brutality. At the story's start, he is defeated by Ashina’s commander, losing both the Divine Heir and his left arm. This arm is subsequently replaced by a Shinobi Prosthetic.

After receiving the prosthetic, you meet the Sculptor and Emma. The Sculptor refers to you as Wolf and explains he dragged you back so you wouldn’t be eaten by dogs. He reveals that Kuro is alive but imprisoned in Ashina Castle, where his bloodline is being exploited. In this area, you can also find Hanbei the Undying, who serves as a training dummy.
