The Dragon Heritage
The Shinobi Prosthetic is more than a mere replacement for Sekiro's lost arm; it's a conduit for powerful Shinobi Tools. The Sculptor, a master craftsman, imbues these tools into the prosthetic, which he originally owned. He bestows it upon Sekiro, having no further need for it himself as he dedicates his life to carving statues. This prosthetic is intrinsically linked to the mysterious 'Dragon Heritage' that marks Kuro, the Divine Heir, as a target. Sekiro's own body exhibits strange phenomena, possibly a symptom of this same heritage. The Sculptor also hints at other peculiar individuals drawn to the temple and advises Sekiro to seek one out near the gate.
Near the Sculptor, you'll find a bronze Buddha statue. The Sculptor explains its purpose: to aid in confronting inner turmoil and memories. Emma, a doctor serving an unnamed master, also resides at the Dilapidated Temple. She's tasked with assisting Sekiro for safety reasons and reveals she crafted the Healing Gourd for Kuro. She can enhance its capacity if Sekiro brings her Gourd Seeds. Emma will also examine the white mark on Sekiro's face, theorizing it's connected to the Dragon Heritage.
Further exploration leads to Hanbei the Undying, a man cursed with immortality. He offers to be a training partner, allowing Sekiro to hone his combat skills. Hanbei can be killed, but his curse ensures he will revive. He also points out the Offering Box, a place to retrieve lost items by offering Sen.
