For the ultimate challenge, Sekiro offers two optional difficulty modifiers:

  • Charmless: At the start of New Game+, you can choose to give Kuro's Charm back to him. This means you take chip damage even on perfect deflections, forcing absolute precision.
  • Demon Bell: Found in Senpou Temple, ringing this bell increases enemy difficulty, health, and posture, but also boosts item drop rates and Sen/XP gain. It can be toggled off at any time.
Combining both modes creates the hardest possible Sekiro experience, reserved for true shinobi masters. These modes are excellent for practicing perfect deflections and pushing your skills to their limit.
