Your journey through the jungle begins with Lara alone, searching for Jonah. The first major challenge is a jaguar attack. This encounter teaches you the basics of combat and dodging. After fending off the jaguar, you'll need to Follow the Trail. This involves a lot of platforming and using your climbing axe to scale rock faces. You'll soon encounter your first Trinity patrol. This is an excellent opportunity to practice stealth takedowns. Use the tall grass and mud to your advantage. Aim for headshots with your bow for quick, silent kills. Remember to loot fallen enemies for salvage and ammunition. You'll eventually reach a small village, which serves as a hub for a short period. Here, you can interact with locals and gather more information. The path will then lead you deeper into the jungle, towards ancient ruins, where you'll face more complex environmental puzzles and larger groups of Trinity soldiers. Always prioritize stealth when possible to conserve resources and avoid direct confrontations.
