Chapter Six: Central Silent Hill \[cont'd\]

Continue your journey through Central Silent Hill, uncovering the secrets of the Antique Shop, navigating a mysterious mall, and facing the Giant Larva boss.

Once you exit the hospital, take Koontz Street until you reach Simmons Street. Turn left onto Simmons and continue until you pass the "Silent Hill Town Center" and the antique shop. Head down the stairs and use the "Antique Shop key" to enter. Ensure your flashlight is on to see inside. You'll find a notepad to save your game. Examine the Antique Shop closely, paying attention to the cabinet and the markings on the floor. Push the cabinet to reveal a secret passage.

After discovering the passage, Cybil will arrive. She mentions seeing a little girl near the Waterworks and asks what you found. Harry admits he doesn't know where the passage leads but will investigate. Cybil will stay to cover you and advise you to return if anything happens. You'll find an altar, possibly the "Other Church" Dahlia mentioned. Approach the altar, grab the axe, and the back wall will open. Cybil will try to call out to you, but receiving no response, she'll go to check on you, only to find you gone.

Harry will wake from a dream, realizing the next destination is the town lake. Lisa, if still at the hospital, might know how to get there, as the roads are destroyed. You'll find Lisa again, and she'll tell you the only way to the lake is through the Sewers. You'll find a notepad on a dresser and notice the "Mark of Samael". Head back to the hospital. Upon exiting the Antique Shop, you'll notice it's getting dark, possibly due to the demon "Samael".

Enemy numbers increase, and they are tougher. The usual route to the hospital is blocked, forcing an alternate path. Turn left from the "Green Lion", go up Simmons Street, and find a hole in a fence. Climb through to enter a mall-like area. Look for the escalators and go up to the next floor. The TV screens will turn on, showing disturbing images of Cheryl, which will make you uncomfortable. After Cheryl disappears from the TV, a flashing symbol will appear, hinting at the mysterious events in Silent Hill.

Continue on the escalators, following the path to your left. Your radio will act erratically. Keep going, and the camera will switch to an overhead view as the floor collapses, dropping you into a sand pit. You'll realize there's no apparent way out. Look for a wall with a "Hunting Rifle", but it only has one bullet left. It's advisable to equip the shotgun for the upcoming boss fight.

Boss Fight #2: Giant Larva

Shortly after picking up the hunting rifle, a giant larva will emerge from the sand. Its first attack will likely be directly beneath you. The objective is to shoot its head with the shotgun. The larva will submerge itself after its initial attack. If you corner it, it may shoot red liquid at you. Continue shooting its head until it is defeated. Alternatively, you can wear it out by continuously shooting it. You will lose health during this fight, but upon its defeat, it will curl into a ball and break through a window, providing an exit from the sandpit.

Go through the broken window to the backside of the mall. Turn right onto Sagan Street (west) and head towards the police station to save your game. You can also find ammo for the hunting rifle here. Leave the police station, turn right onto "Chrichton" Street, and proceed to the hospital again. Save your game at the hospital and head to the Examination Room. After visiting the Examination Room, leave the hospital, saving your game beforehand if desired. Upon exiting, you'll notice the surroundings have changed again. The only path forward is across the street.
