Tips

Some Gordos require specific foods to be fed to them.
Feeding a Gordo enough of its preferred food will cause it to pop, clearing the path.
Gordos often drop valuable items or unlock new areas when defeated.
Pay attention to the minimap (a small map in the corner of your HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap), showing your immediate surroundings) for indications of Gordo locations.
Be prepared to defend yourself if other slimes are present in the area.
