- Principal's Office: This is where you can manage your Chao's data.
- Check Status: View your Chao's current stats (Swim, Fly, Run, Power, Stamina), personality traits, and evolution type. This is crucial for tracking their development and planning their training.
- Give Name: Assign a unique name to your Chao. This can be done at any point.
- Say Goodbye: Release a Chao back into the wild. Be absolutely sure before doing this, as it's irreversible!
- Chao Doctor: The Chao Doctor is essential for maintaining your Chao's health and well-being.
- Check-up: The doctor will provide a detailed report on your Chao's current health, happiness, and any potential issues. It's a good idea to get regular check-ups, especially if your Chao seems unwell.
- Medicine: If your Chao is sick or unhappy, the doctor can administer various medicines to restore their health and mood. Keep an eye on their expressions and the doctor's diagnosis to know when to seek treatment.
- Chao Black Market: This is where you can purchase various items to enhance your Chao's life. You'll need Rings, which are collected in the main game levels.
- Hats: Cosmetic items that your Chao can wear. While they don't affect stats, they add a touch of personality!
- Fruit: Different types of fruit provide various stat boosts and can influence your Chao's evolution.
- Round Fruit: General stat increase.
- Long Fruit: Primarily boosts Run and Fly stats.
- Square Fruit: Primarily boosts Power and Swim stats.
- Seeds: Plant these in the Chao Garden to grow your own fruit trees. This is a cost-effective way to get a steady supply of fruit.
- Toys: Interactive items that your Chao can play with, increasing their happiness and sometimes offering minor stat boosts.
- Chao School: Enroll your Chao in various classes to improve their skills and learn new behaviors.
- Singing Class: Teaches your Chao to sing different tunes. This is purely for entertainment and doesn't affect stats.
- Dancing Class: Teaches your Chao various dance moves. Like singing, this is for aesthetic enjoyment.
- Drawing Class: Your Chao will learn to draw simple pictures.
- Bells Class: Your Chao will learn to play a small bell.
- Drum Class: Your Chao will learn to play a drum.
- Cymbal Class: Your Chao will learn to play cymbals.
