Blaze's approach to Leaf Storm Act 1 is similar to Sonic's, but her Burst Hover ability offers unique navigation options. Use your Burst Hover to extend your jumps and reach platforms that might be just out of reach for Sonic. This is particularly useful in the vertical sections where you're launched between screens. Instead of relying solely on springs, you can often use a well-timed Burst Hover to gain extra height or correct a misjudged jump. When encountering the strong wind sections, Blaze can also use her Boost, but her Burst Hover can sometimes help her glide over the wind's influence if timed correctly.
Blaze's Burst Dash is her equivalent of Sonic's Homing Attack, and it's just as effective for chaining attacks on enemies. Practice using it to maintain momentum. Look for opportunities to use your Burst Hover to access higher routes that might contain more rings or a faster path. The overall layout is the same, but Blaze's unique abilities allow for slightly different strategies. Aim for a time under 1:00 for an S-Rank, utilizing your Burst Hover to shave off precious seconds.
