Complete Soul Hackers 2 Part 2 walkthrough covering Paradigm X, Vision Quest 1: Alma Capture, and Algon Soft NS, including point distribution.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
After a choice, you will experience more dialogue and see a gun-looking PC.
  2. 2
After these events, you can Save, examine the Gun-type PC, or Leave. Examine the Gun-type PC.
  3. 3
    Head into Paradigm X.
  4. 4
After some cutscenes and an introduction to Paradigm X, you will regain control. Explore and talk to some NPCs (non-player characters).
  5. 5
To progress the story, head down the alley near the bank and towards the Air Vision, then check out the Theatre.
  6. 6
Once you are finished exploring Paradigm X, return to the Counter.
  7. 7
Begin Vision Quest 1: Alma Capture. You will start with a man, a car, the gun-type PC, and a phone. Your destination is Algon NS.
  8. 8
Algon NS 1F: Head north to the elevator and go to 2F.
  9. 9
Algon NS 2F: Head to the elevator in front of you for an event that will reveal your next objective. Head west, through the door, and follow the path, engaging in easy fights. You can also talk to some characters to learn about Urabe. You will pass a terminal room where you can heal for free and Save. Go up the stairs to 3F.
  10. 10
Algon NS 3F: Head towards the Stairway to 4F. You will have a conversation with a security guard along the way.
  11. 11
Algon NS 4F: Proceed to the stairway to 5F.
  12. 12
Algon NS 5F: Head east and go through the nearby door. In the next room, head south and enter the Computer Room. Events will occur, and you will be prompted to enter a password.
  13. 13
After completing the password entry, you will finish this part of the Vision Quest.
  14. 14
You will then have a dialogue choice that does not matter.
  15. 15
Next, use the Gun-type PC and enter the password you previously inputted.
  16. 16
After more events and another inconsequential dialogue choice, your next destination will be revealed.
  17. 17
Head to Nikamimon on the World Map. From Nikamimon, go all the way north then east to find Algon NS.
  18. 18
Algon Soft NS 1F: Head north for a conversation, then proceed to the Elevator to 2F.
  19. 19
Algon Soft NS 2F: Head south to the elevator and jump to 5F.
  20. 20
Algon Soft NS 5F: Head north near the door for an event. Go west through the door, and follow the path, skipping a door, to find a chest containing a Balm of Life. Return and go through the skipped door to the elevator to 4F. You will find a Terminal Room and a Healing Space, which uses Magnetite to heal.
  21. 21
Algon Soft NS 4F: Head west then north. You can go through a door to talk to someone. Head east, follow the conversation from Lunch, then go south and into the stairway down to 3F.
  22. 22
Algon Soft NS 3F: Head south and follow the path. You will have a conversation with Six. Go through the door to the south for a chest containing 300 Magnetite. Exit that door and follow the hallway south to the stairway to B1F.
  23. 23
Algon Soft NS B1F: Proceed down the hallway to a room where a boss battle will ensue after much talking.
Tips
  • When distributing points for the main character (MC), do not put points into Magic unless you plan to use his best armor, which requires Magic at 10. If you want to equip all pieces of the Masakado armor set, aim for Magic at 8. This set is available late game or post-game. For general stats, focus on Strength, Endurance, and Agility. High Agility can allow you to outspeed regular bosses and enemies. You can add points to Intelligence to resist magic, but it is not strictly necessary. Luck can be useful for avoiding status effects.
  • For Nemissa's point distribution, avoid putting points into Strength unless you intend to use her best armor, which requires 12 Strength (8 minimum). For general stats, invest in Magic for increased magic damage, magic accuracy, and MP. Intelligence also boosts magic accuracy and MP. Agility helps with speed and dodging, while Endurance increases HP and Defense. Her best armor requires 12 in Strength, Intelligence, Endurance, and Agility, and can be obtained early through the Casino or a Dream Ticket. Alternatively, you can fuse Suzaku at MC level 56 (near the end of the game) and use Mystic Change.
  • When talking to demons, you can only recruit them if they have a smiley face, which depends on your level or having the necessary Apps (like Dark Man for Dark Demons). You can still talk to them to negotiate and receive an item even if you cannot recruit them.
  • Talking to demons during a Full Moon is risky and may not be worth the potential wipe, even with the Moon Adult App.
  • The usual exchange rate for recruiting demons is Magnetite (MAG) equal to the demon's level x 10, and Yen equal to the demon's level x 100. Sometimes negotiations fail even with the correct payment.
  • The Healing Space in Algon Soft NS uses Magnetite to heal. You should not experience Magnetite shortages if you engage in fights.
