Each standard level in Super Mario World contains five Dragon Coins. Collecting all five in a single level will reward you with an extra life. While not strictly necessary for completing the game, collecting Dragon Coins is a fun challenge and a great way to stock up on lives, especially for tougher levels ahead. They are often placed in tricky spots, requiring precise jumps, power-ups, or careful exploration to reach. Some are hidden behind blocks, others require a Spin Jump to access, and many are simply high up, demanding a Cape Feather or Yoshi's flutter jump. Make it a habit to thoroughly search every nook and cranny of a level if you're aiming for 100% completion.
