Warp Zones are secret portals hidden within specific levels, transporting Meat Boy to special, often retro-themed bonus stages. There are 20 Warp Zones in total, each containing three unique levels. Completing all three levels within a Warp Zone will unlock a new playable character. These zones are usually well-concealed, requiring players to explore off the beaten path, perform precise jumps to seemingly inaccessible areas, or even utilize specific character abilities to reveal them. A small Warp Zone icon will appear on the UI when you are close to one. The levels within Warp Zones often have unique visual styles and gameplay twists, providing a refreshing change of pace from the main game while maintaining the high level of challenge. Discovering and completing all Warp Zones is essential for unlocking the full roster of characters.
