Activate the Core
To activate the core, you must locate and activate several patches of lanterns and two large blue crystals containing water orbs. This process involves navigating sandy hills, utilizing spawned jellyfish to reach higher areas, and following linear paths indicated by banners. The goal is to restore water and open the path forward.
- As soon as you mount the dolphin, swim forward and activate the lanterns in the sand. There is a small patch to the left and a larger patch surrounding a tower further ahead.
- After activating these, follow the path of water and fish up the hill.
- Branch off to the left to activate another batch of lanterns.
- Turn right and hop up the hill of sand to find more lanterns to activate. This will spawn jellyfish.
- Use the jellyfish to hop over the pillars.
- Immediately after dropping into the next area, turn left and hop up the hill to activate another batch of lanterns.
- Continue ahead to the hill with statues and activate the lanterns surrounding the tower just off to the right.
- Go to the statues and activate the lanterns in front of them. This will spawn jellyfish, allowing you to hop up to the next area.
- Before continuing on the path of water, branch off to the left and use the towers to hop up to the higher hill. At the top, activate more lanterns.
- In this area, locate and hit the two larger blue crystals (water orbs) to restore water and activate the path forward.
- Once you take the first stream, continue following the linear path of sand, guided by banners. At the bottom, activate lanterns to spawn jellyfish.
- Hop on the jellyfish until you reach the top and jump over the last bridge.
- Continue forward until you reach the gate with the three turtleheads. These need to be activated by hitting large blue water orb crystals.
- Go past the first crystal and keep hopping up to the higher levels.
- Then, turn left and continue.
Activating the Middle Water Orb
After a gate opens:
- Go to either the left or right side and up the stairs.
- Face the middle water orb and use Water Rail to reach and activate it.
