Titles in Tales of Arise are more than just cosmetic; they represent a character's growth, accomplishments, and mastery of various skills and combat styles. Earning titles often requires completing specific challenges, mastering Artes, or achieving certain milestones, and many are directly tied to unlocking the game's achievements and trophies.

Each character in your party has their own set of unique titles to unlock. These are typically earned by performing specific actions in combat, such as defeating a certain number of enemies, using a particular Arte a set number of times, or achieving a specific combat rank. For example, Alphen might earn titles like 'Swordsman' for defeating a large number of enemies with his sword, or 'Flame Bringer' for mastering his fire-based Artes.

Titles are unlocked through various means:

• Combat Milestones: Defeating a certain number of enemies, performing specific combos, or achieving high combat ratings.
• Arte Mastery: Using specific Artes a set number of times or mastering their variations.
• Sub-Quest Completion: Completing specific side quests often rewards unique titles.
• Collectible Hunting: Finding all Dahnan Owls or completing the fishing log can unlock titles.
• Story Progression: Certain titles are unlocked as you advance through the main narrative.

Many achievements are directly linked to title acquisition. For instance, the achievement 'Master of Titles' requires you to obtain a sificant number of titles across all characters. Other achievements might be tied to specific titles, such as 'The Unflinching' for Kisara, which requires her to successfully guard a certain number of attacks.

The 'Skill Panel' is where you'll see your progress towards unlocking new titles and the associated passive skills. As you earn SP (Skill Points) and level up, you can unlock nodes on these panels, which often lead to new titles or enhance existing ones. Some nodes also grant permanent stat boosts or new abilities.
