Avatars in Tetris Effect: Connected are cosmetic profile pictures that represent you in multiplayer lobbies, leaderboards, and your player profile. While they don't offer any gameplay advantages, collecting and choosing your favorite avatar is a fun way to personalize your experience.
Unlocking Avatars
- Player Level Progression: Many avatars are unlocked simply by gaining XP and increasing your overall Player Level. The more you play any mode, the more XP you earn.
- Journey Mode Completion: Completing specific stages or entire areas in Journey Mode will often unlock unique avatars tied to those themes.
- Effect Mode Milestones: Achieving certain scores or completing specific objectives in various Effect Modes can also reward you with new avatars. For example, clearing 40 lines in Sprint mode under a certain time might unlock a speed-themed avatar.
- Connected Mode Achievements: Winning a certain number of matches or reaching specific ranks in multiplayer modes can also grant exclusive avatars.
Choosing Your Avatar
You can change your avatar at any time from the 'Profile' section of the main menu. Browse through your unlocked collection and select the one that best represents your style or achievements. Some players like to match their avatar to the game mode they are playing, while others simply pick their favorite design.
