While Morrowind doesn't feature rigid class systems or predefined professions like some RPGs, the game allows players to specialize in various skills that effectively function as professions. By focusing on a set of related skills, You can develop a character archetype, such as a warrior, mage, thief, or a hybrid combination.

Your character's 'class' is determined by the combination of Major and Minor skills you select at the beginning of the game, along with your chosen Births. However, the true 'profession' emerges through gameplay as you invest in and level up specific skill sets, unlocking unique abilities and playstyles.

Key Skill Sets for Specialization

Combat Specialist: Focuses on weapon skills (One-Handed, Two-Handed, Marksman), armor skills (Heavy Armor, Medium Armor, Light Armor), and combat-related attributes like Strength and Endurance. This archetype excels in direct confrontation.
Mage Specialist: Centers around magic schools such as Destruction, Mysticism, Alteration, Restoration, Illusion, and Conjuration. High Intelligence and Willpower are crucial. This path relies on spellcasting for offense, defense, and utility.
