After acquiring the Boomerang and navigating the rest of the dungeon, you'll reach the boss chamber. The boss of the Temple of Fire is Blaaz, Master of Fire. Blaaz is composed of three smaller fire spirits that merge into a larger form. The key to defeating him lies in using your newly acquired Boomerang. When Blaaz is in his combined form, he will teleport around the arena. Your goal is to separate him into his three smaller forms. To do this, use the Boomerang to hit all three parts of Blaaz in quick succession. Draw a path that connects all three segments. Once separated, the three smaller Blaaz spirits will fly around. Each spirit has a symbol (circle, triangle, square) above its head. You need to hit them with the Boomerang in the correct order, which is displayed on the top screen. The order changes each time, so pay attention! After hitting them in the correct order, the spirits will become vulnerable. Rush in and slash them with your sword. Repeat this process until Blaaz is defeated. After his defeat, collect the Heart Container and the Pure Metal, which is your first key item for the Ghost Ship.
