The Sims 4 offers a rich life simulation experience with numerous expansions and content packs. The Sims 4 Life and Death expansion, releasing October 31, 2024, introduces a new World, playable Ghosts, and two new Careers. Another expansion, The Sims 4: Enchanted By Nature, allows players to live out Fairy dreams in the Irish folklore-inspired world of Innisgreen.
To begin your journey, consider these points:
- Expansions: Keep an eye out for upcoming releases like The Sims 4 Royalty & Legacy Expansion Pack.
- Walkthroughs: Full walkthroughs are available for each expansion, including "The Sims 4: Lovestruck - Ring Bear's Quest."
- Cheats: A complete list of Cheats is available for every platform.
- Collecting: Collecting is a significant aspect of the game, with 16 base game collections and 26 additional collections from content packs.
For successful collecting, consider the following:
- The 'Collector' bonus trait from a knowledge aspiration increases the odds of finding rarer items.
- Delete cache files before starting your game.
- Visit hidden lots like The Grotto and Sylvan Glades for rarer items.
- Collecting resets spawners, so save your game frequently to avoid repeatedly digging up the same items.
- Postcards can be collected by having pen pals and asking them for one via mail. There are 14 in the base game and 7 in the _My First Pet Stuff_ pack (requiring a hamster, hedgehog, rat, or dwarf bubalus on your lot).
