Saving & Loading Your Game

Regularly saving your game is crucial to prevent losing progress. You can save your game by pressing Esc to open the Game Options menu, then selecting 'Save Game' or 'Save As'. 'Save As' allows you to create multiple save files, which is useful for experimenting with different storylines or backing up your progress. To load a game, select 'Load Game' from the main menu. The Sims 4 also features an autosave function, but it's always best practice to manually save, especially after significant events like promotions, skill gains, or major build projects.
