Walkthrough

    To reach the mines, take the reddish dirt road behind the Church cemetery, or from the two houses with portals, continue along the road, keeping right at the fork.

    The main mine gate is locked. Squeeze through a small rock opening on the right side of the mines.

    Walk back from the mine entrance, find a small reddish dirt path to your right, go up it, veer right into a foresty area, and enter through the rocks marked with "Enter".

    Follow the linear path through the rocks to reach the caged mine entrance.

    Follow the tunnel to a lift. Get on the lift and press the button to descend.

    Exit the lift and follow the tunnel to an area with train tracks.

    On the right side of this area, find another lift. To its left are the controls. Press the button to raise the lift.

    Inspect the lock on the lift. You can also try to "Touch" the drowned woman, but it won't work yet.

    To the right of the lift, inspect the pickaxe rack. Align the pickaxe letters.

    Follow the train tracks and go right where they split to find the old train.

    Start the train, put it in reverse, then drive forward at full speed to break the rock barrier on the tracks.

    Continue forward on the train. It will go around to the lift and back into the tunnel. Ride it until you see the pickaxe stuck in a red box on the left. Stop the train a short distance before the pickaxe to ensure the "Inspect" prompt remains visible.

    Retrieve the pickaxe.

    Return to the pickaxe rack and place the pickaxe back.

    "Touch" the corpse to begin the chronology of the murder scene.

Chronology Scenes:

  1. Scene #1: A lady and a bearded man are walking into the main area near the tunnel and train tracks, looking at the lift.
  2. Scene #2: The man and woman are by the lift. The man is outside, and the woman is inside.
  3. Scene #3: The bearded man is at the lift controls, to the left of the lift.
  4. Scene #4: The bearded man, holding an axe, is near the pickaxe rack to the right of the lift.
  5. Scene #5: The bearded man, with his pickaxe, is to the far left of the lift, looking back at it.
Tips
  • After visualizing the scene, follow the last Shimmering Light of Hope to the final scene with the boy and the pickaxe man to complete the mines murder.
  • To get to the Dam House murder, ride the train all the way down the mine until you can't go further. Get off, and to your left, you'll see a tunnel. Trudge through it and follow the tunnels to reach outside. You'll need to crouch under a wood plank to get fully outside. The Dam House Murder will be to your right.
