Complete the Spring mission in TR-49 with this comprehensive guide. Learn about the music mini-game, character interactions, side-stories, and work tasks.
After waking up, use the piano to be introduced to the music mini-game. This is a 4-button rhythm game where you must press prompts as they descend. You can practice piano each morning, with a new song daily, and receive a star-rating. Perfecting all 7 songs unlocks an achievement. To 4-star a song, time button presses so notes perfectly fill the squares. You can still earn 4 stars with a few mistakes, and replay songs until the end of the game. The default keys are DFJK, but can be changed to QWOP or ZXNM in Settings.
After the first song, answer the door for your complaining neighbor (Neighbor 1/4). Pick up your phone, then use the bath, tapping left and right keys to get the temperature right. Leave the apartment.
Go down the stairs and interact with the door beneath your apartment for an achievement for checking in on your neighbor (four opportunities total). To the right of your apartment building, pet the dog (achievement for interacting with all dogs). Follow it to Fernando, a 14-year-old rapper; talk to him twice (Fernando 1/5). Head back right to an Old Man writing on the street; choose "wait" to learn more (1/9). At the bakery, exhaust Ben's dialogue (Ben 1/7). In the Boutique across the street, talk to the owner Elly (1/9) and pet her cat (achievement for interacting with 3 different cats). At the cafe, interact with the couple twice, then talk to the owner Santiego (1/9). In the music shop, speak to Jack, the owner (1/5). In the plaza, play the out-of-tune piano for an achievement. Continue right to Alex by the bus stop (1/5). Cross the bridge to the supermarket and talk to David (1/9). Inside, change into your uniform and scan items on the conveyor belt. Afterwards, stack shelves by moving red and blue cans to their respective places.
Leave the store and head left. In the plaza, complete 4 mini-games to finish the orchestra. A new song, "de' Violeta," is available on the piano; you can play it or decline. Take a bath, then head outside.
