SILENT OLD SANCTUARY SHELL

This build is great if you have a solid starting weapon (and potential evolution) and is extremely convenient to get started. It allows a max 1-3 weapon limit.

Arcana: Silent Old Sanctuary

Weapons: Paranormal Scan (optional), Dominus Agony (optional)

Tips: Your starting weapon can often peter off, but Paranormal Scan and Dominus Agony can help you reach 30:00 completion and possibly beyond.

SLASH SHELL

Slash is interesting because the critical damage you can inflict is oftentimes so tremendous that you get markedly better results out of Clover than out of Spinach. If you're using Slash, you should be using Clover regardless, especially if you can't fit in Spinach.

DIVINE BLOODLINE SHELL

The manner in which Divine Bloodline does damage while also upping your Max Health (and thus your survivability) is pretty amazing. Legionnaire is wonderful with it, but even Mazo Familiar can net you solid results.

Arcana: Divine Bloodline

Passive Items: Armor, Hollow Heart

Weapons that enable Divine Bloodline: LEGIONNAIRE, MAZO FAMILIAR, VICTORY SWORD, MURAMASA, NO FUTURE, CRIMSON SHROUD.

Tips: Hollow Heart should be taken as late as possible because it boosts health dependent on your Max Health at the time of acquisition.

WANDERING THE JET BLACK SHELL

Wandering the Jet Black actually gets surprisingly powerful the more healing you have. It doesn't really reach its apex without the Muramasa, however.

Arcana: Wandering the Jet Black

Passive Items: Gold Mask, Pummarola, Attractorb

Other weapons that enable Wandering the Jet Black: Night Sword, Bloody Tear, FUWALAFUWALOO, SOUL EATER, Celestial Dusting, Silver Wind, FESTIVE WIND, Lifesign Scan, PARANORMAL SCAN.

HEART OF FIRE SHELL

A good number of weapons become fairly amazing with Heart of Fire, oftentimes being middling prior to its acquisition. Note that not all of the weapons below are made equal.

GEMINI SHELL

Like Heart of Fire, some of the weapons which can be Gemini'd aren't necessarily very good, but there are also some real gems here. The big standout is stuff like Phieraggi and unevolved Gatti Amari.

MOONLIGHT BOLERO START

Every minute it's possible to get a Silver chest off of the boss enemy that shows up, meaning you can get Evolutions prior to the 10:00 mark MUCH FASTER on any stage. Moonlight Bolero can also have Arcana chests early, meaning it can be a two-Arcanas-for-one start depending on your luck.

AWAKE PIVOT

Not necessarily a build more than a way to stabilize mid-game. If you think things are getting dicey, Awake with its extra Revivals might be able to buy you time to survive. It does advance your gameplay with each death, though not nearly as dramatically as other Arcanas.
