While most characters can switch between several available jobs, Ichiban Kasuga stands out with his own set of unique, powerful jobs that are exclusive to him. These jobs reflect his personality and his journey, offering distinct playstyles and essential skills for the party.

Ichiban's unique jobs are central to his development and the game's combat strategy. Unlike other party members who can freely switch between a shared pool of jobs, Ichiban's personal job progression is tied to his individual growth and specific story beats. Mastering these jobs not only enhances Ichiban's capabilities but also unlocks powerful inherited skills that can be applied to other jobs he takes on, making him an incredibly versatile and potent force on the battlefield.

Ichiban's Unique Jobs

Ichiban has access to several jobs that are exclusive to him. These are generally unlocked as you progress through the main story and often represent sificant milestones in his character arc.

1. Hero

   Description: Ichiban's default job, representing his heroic spirit and desire to help others. It's a well-rounded job that excels in physical combat and can provide some support.

   • Strengths: Balanced stats, good physical attack, access to buffs and some AoE skills.
   • Key Skills: 'Mega Swing' (AoE attack), 'Hero's Shield' (defense buff), 'Rock Bottom' (powerful single-target attack).
   • Role: Early-game all-rounder, solid physical attacker.

2. Freelancer

   Description: A more adaptable and versatile version of the Hero, focusing on physical prowess and the ability to equip a wider range of weapons. This job truly shines when combined with inherited skills from other mastered jobs.

   • Strengths: High physical attack, good HP, excellent weapon variety, strong skill inheritance potential.
   • Key Skills: Innate skills are decent, but its true power comes from inherited skills like 'Piercing Gaze' or 'Death Sentence.'
   • Role: Physical DPS, adaptable attacker.

3. Dragon of Dojima

   Description: A powerful, late-game job unlocked after sificant story progression. This job embodies the ultimate Yakuza warrior, focusing on devastating physical attacks and immense resilience.

   • Strengths: Extremely high physical attack, high HP and defense, powerful sature skills.
   • Key Skills: 'Dragon's Roar' (massive AoE damage), 'Dragon's Breath' (single-target finisher), 'Dragon's Might' (self-buff).
   • Role: Ultimate physical damage dealer, tank.

Importance of Job Mastery

For Ichiban's unique jobs, as with all jobs, mastering them is crucial. Each job has a set of skills that Ichiban learns as he gains Job EXP. Once a job is mastered (reaching its highest level), Ichiban retains access to all the skills learned from that job, even when he switches to a different job. This allows for incredible customization. For example, you could be in the Freelancer job but use a powerful attack skill learned from the Dragon of Dojima job.

Inherited Skills

The concept of 'inherited skills' is paramount. When Ichiban masters a job, he can equip one or two skills from that mastered job while in another job. This means you can create builds like a Freelancer with the defensive buffs of a Hero, or a Hero with the critical hit chance of a Freelancer that has inherited skills from another job. The synergy between Ichiban's unique jobs and the general jobs available to the party is a core element of the game's strategic depth.
