Count Victor is a formidable adversary encountered in a grand, yet decaying, chateau. This boss fight emphasizes environmental interaction, stealth, and precise use of Amicia's sling and alchemical tools. Victor, a powerful knight infused with the Macula's influence, is heavily armored and wields a devastating sword.

Phase 1: Initial Encounter & Environmental Hazards

The fight begins in a large hall. Victor is initially protected by a swarm of rats that he can command. Direct attacks on him are ineffective while the rats are present.
Your primary objective is to eliminate the rats. Use is (fire) to clear swathes of them. Look for braziers and other flammable objects to ite.
Victor will actively try to protect his rats and attack you. Use the environment for cover – pillars, furniture, and alcoves can provide temporary respite.
When the rats are cleared, Victor will be vulnerable for a short period. Use this window to land several shots with your sling on his exposed body. Aim for his head or chest.

Phase 2: The Rat Swarm's Return & Strategic Movement

Victor will periodically summon his rat swarm back. You'll need to repeat the process of clearing them with fire.
Pay close attention to Victor's attack patterns. He has powerful sweeping sword attacks and can charge at you. Dodge at the last moment to avoid damage.
