How to Beat Stone Heart Golem

Defeat the Stone Heart Golem in Absolum. Learn its attacks, phases, and exploit its vulnerability to arcane and blight damage during the Blight Cores phase.

Location: Grave of the Ancients (Optional, 'The Collector's Cache' side quest)

Description: An ancient construct reanimated by the Blight, slow but incredibly durable and hits with immense force.

Phases & Attacks:

• Phase 1 (100%-50% Health):
  • Ground Slam: Smashes the ground, creating a shockwave that deals AoE damage and can stun.
  • Boulder Toss: Hurls a large rock at a distant target.
  • Stone Fist Combo: A slow but powerful two-hit melee combo.
• Phase 2 (Under 50% Health):
  • Gains 'Stone Skin': Becomes temporarily immune to physical damage, revealing glowing Blight Cores on its body.
  • 'Earthquake': Channels a prolonged AoE attack that causes rocks to fall from the ceiling.
  • Attacks become more frequent and deal more damage.

Weaknesses & Strategy:

The Stone Heart Golem is highly resistant to physical damage but vulnerable to arcane and blight damage. Vanguards should focus on blocking its melee attacks and dodging Ground Slams, using any arcane-enchanted weapons or skills. Shadows will struggle with direct damage but can use 'Poisoned Blade' or 'Blight Arrows' to apply damage over time, focusing on dodging. Mystics are highly effective here, using 'Arcane Bolt' and 'Blight Nova' spells. During 'Stone Skin' phase, target the glowing Blight Cores on its limbs and back; these are its true weak points. Avoid the falling rocks during Earthquake. Patience is key, as this is a war of attrition.
