• Retrieve the Blade of the First Dawn: After dispatching the Shades, you'll be directed to a glowing pedestal. Interact with it to claim the Blade of the First Dawn, your primary weapon for the early game. This blade offers a balanced attack speed and damage, perfect for learning combat rhythms.

• The Cosmic Guardian Form:
  • Strengths: Unparalleled mobility, ability to interact with certain divine objects, and the power to possess Followers.
  • Weaknesses: Incapable of direct combat, vulnerable to environmental hazards.
  • Key Action: Look for glowing blue sigils on the ground to initiate possession of a nearby Follower.
• Follower: Cygnus the Warrior (Initial Vessel):
  • Weapon: Blade of the First Dawn (Sword & Shield)
  • Abilities:
    • Shield Bash: Use your shield to stun enemies, leaving them open for attacks. (Trigger + Grip on off-hand controller)

Path to the First Portal

Use your Cosmic Guardian form to reassemble them by holding your hands over the fragments and performing the indicated gesture.
2. The Shadowed Alcove: Across the bridge, you'll find a shadowed alcove guarded by a few more Lesser Shades. Defeat them to clear the path. Inside the alcove, you'll discover your first Lesser Soul Fragment (a glowing orb). Collect these to upgrade your abilities later.
3. Activating the Portal: Proceed further until you reach a large, dormant portal. To activate it, you'll need to find two Duat Energy Cells.
   • Cell 1 Location: To the left of the portal, there's a small, crumbling wall. As Cygnus, use a heavy attack with your Blade of the First Dawn to break it open. The cell is inside.
   • Cell 2 Location: To the right, you'll see a platform slightly out of reach. Switch to your Cosmic Guardian form, then possess Cygnus again. Look for a nearby climbable wall (indicated by glowing handholds). Ascend to the platform, and the second cell will be there.
4. Insert the Cells: Return to the portal and insert both Duat Energy Cells into their respective slots. The portal will hum to life, signifying your imminent departure from the Duat and into the wider world of Asgard's Wrath 2.
