Collectible Achievements
This section is dedicated to the achievements and trophies tied to finding and collecting the numerous hidden items scattered throughout Renaissance Italy. While some collectibles are purely for completionists, many offer valuable rewards, unlock new content, or simply deepen your understanding of the game's rich lore. Be prepared for some extensive exploration and a keen eye!
Collecting everything in Assassin's Creed II can be a time-consuming endeavor, but it's also incredibly rewarding. We'll break down each collectible type and provide tips on how to efficiently track them down. Remember that many collectibles become easier to find once you've purchased the appropriate Treasure Maps from Art Merchants. These maps reveal the general location of collectibles on your in-game map, significantly reducing the amount of aimless wandering.
- Feathers: There are 100 Feathers to collect across all regions. Finding all of them unlocks a special cutscene and a unique reward at the Villa Auditore.
- Glyphs (The Truth): These mysterious symbols are hidden on various landmarks. Solving each Glyph puzzle unlocks a piece of "The Truth" video, revealing deeper lore about the Assassin-Templar conflict. There are 20 Glyphs in total.
- Statues: Six Statues are hidden around the Villa Auditore. Finding all of them unlocks a significant amount of Florins.
- Codex Pages: These are crucial for progressing the story and unlocking new abilities. While most are collected during main missions, a few are found in optional locations. There are 30 Codex Pages in total.
Our advice for tackling collectible achievements is to prioritize purchasing Treasure Maps as soon as they become available in each new city. This will save you a lot of backtracking. Additionally, consider tackling collectibles in conjunction with other exploration-based achievements, such as synchronizing viewpoints, to maximize your efficiency.
