Tailors in Constantinople are essential for maintaining Ezio's appearance and, more importantly, his stealth capabilities. They allow you to purchase and change outfits, as well as acquire dyes to customize your look. While not as critical for direct combat as Blacksmiths, a well-chosen outfit can significantly impact your notoriety and blending opportunities.

Locating Tailors

There are several Tailor shops scattered throughout Constantinople. Initially, your map might appear cluttered, making it difficult to pinpoint specific vendors. Follow these steps to easily locate any missing Tailors:

Open your in-game map.
Press the designated button to filter map icons (typically Square on PlayStation, X on Xbox).
Deselect all icon categories except for "Tailors." This will clear the clutter and highlight only the Tailor shop icons.
Zoom in on the map to thoroughly check all districts. Sometimes, a Tailor icon might be obscured by another building or landmark icon if you haven't filtered properly.

A common issue players face is missing one or two Tailors even after extensively exploring. This usually means they are in less-trafficked areas or are simply hidden under other icons on a busy map. Filtering the map is the most effective strategy.

Upon entering a Tailor shop, you'll have access to the following services:

Purchase Outfits: Unlock and buy new outfits for Ezio. These can range from purely cosmetic changes to those offering slight advantages in certain situations (e.g., blending more easily with specific crowds).
Change Outfits: Switch between any outfits you currently own. This is useful for role-playing or adapting to different mission requirements.
Purchase Dyes: Acquire various color dyes to customize Ezio's primary Assassin robes. Dyes allow for a personalized look and can sometimes subtly affect notoriety if you choose less conspicuous colors.

Early Game: Focus on acquiring the basic dyes if you want to change Ezio's default look. Outfits are generally more expensive and can be saved for later.
Notoriety Management: While outfits don't drastically alter notoriety, a less flashy appearance can sometimes help you blend more effectively in crowded areas, especially when trying to escape guards. Consider darker, more subdued dyes for stealth missions.
