Alright, let's talk about the Almogavars in Assassin's Creed Revelations. Think of them as the beefed-up Brutes you've seen in earlier games, but with a bit more flair and a lot more armor. They're clad in dark red, bulky gear with round helmets, and they pack a serious punch with their axes or swords.

These guys have three main attacks: a regular swing, a powerful charged attack that takes a couple of seconds to wind up and can't be blocked, and a combo of up to three swings. They're wielding heavy weapons, but don't let their size fool you – they have some key weaknesses.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Wield: Heavy Weapons (Swords, Axes)
• Weaknesses: Kicks, Counters, Hidden Blade Counters, Execution Streak
• Immunities: Disarms* (Only during combo attack after taking the first hit)

Strategy:

• Almogavars might look intimidating, but they're actually quite manageable if you know what you're doing. Their big weakness, the Disarm ability that worked so well on Brutes before, is now much trickier. You can only disarm them during their combo attack, and you have to let the first hit land before you can pull it off. Honestly, it's often easier to just treat them like any other enemy.
• Your best bet is to focus on countering their attacks. They're very vulnerable to standard counters and even Hidden Blade counters, which can take them down quickly.
• The most important thing to watch out for is their heavy, charged attack. They'll telegraph this move by holding their weapon high and winding up for a few seconds. You absolutely cannot block this attack, and it does a ton of damage. Your best options are to dodge out of the way or, even better, use a kick to interrupt them mid-swing. They take so long to wind up that a well-timed kick will stop them dead in their tracks.
• Try to chain kills together using the Execution Streak if you can. It's a great way to deal with multiple Almogavars efficiently. Just stay alert, react to their charged attack, and you'll be fine.
