The Annihilation Instinct DLC introduces a few new weapon variants and expands on the existing upgrade system. Weapons are categorized into Melee (e.g., Zvezdochka, Fox) and Ranged (e.g., Kalash, Dominator, KS-23). Each weapon has a unique upgrade tree accessible at Nora terminals. Upgrades require specific crafting components (e.g., Metal Parts, Neuropolymer, Energy Modules) found by scavenging or defeating enemies. Prioritize upgrades that al with your chosen build: damage, fire rate, magazine size, stability, or critical chance for ranged weapons; and damage, attack speed, or special attacks for melee weapons. Don't forget elemental cartridges for ranged weapons, which can synergize powerfully with your Polymer Glove abilities, especially Polymer Jet. Experiment with different combinations to find your preferred loadout.
