Pure Platinum Requirements: To earn a Pure Platinum award for a chapter, every single verse within that chapter must also receive a Pure Platinum. There is no room for error; a single hit or broken combo can invalidate the entire chapter's attempt.

General Combat Strategy: Maintaining a continuous combo is paramount. Focus on keeping the combo counter active by consistently attacking or using secondary actions like shooting or taunting. The goal is to keep at least one attack window on the screen to prevent the combo from resetting.

Weapon and Accessory Recommendations: The Pulley's Butterfly accessory is highly recommended, as it allows Bayonetta to take hits without breaking the combo or affecting the score, significantly easing the difficulty.

Exploiting Bugs/Glitches: The Lieutenant Kilgore bug, achieved by combining specific weapons (e.g., Durga on feet, Kilgore on hands) and performing a particular move, can generate an immense amount of damage and combo points, making it easier to reach the x9.9 multiplier.

Verse Restart Strategy: If a mistake is made (e.g., getting hit, breaking combo), immediately pause the game, escape to the title screen, and select 'Continue'. This will reload the game from the last save point, preserving any progress made in previous verses and allowing for a retry of the current verse without restarting the entire chapter.

Shooting: Use your firearms (Square button) to extend the combo timer by approximately 3 seconds per shot when enemies are present.

Taunting: Taunting freezes the combo timer windows, preventing resets. It can be used when no enemies are present or when locked onto an enemy to increase damage dealt by 50% (though this also enrages the enemy).
