Beloved

Learn how to defeat the Beloved, one of the easiest enemies in Bayonetta 3, by dodging its slow axe attacks and avoiding its grab.

The Beloved is arguably the easiest enemy in Bayonetta 3, second only to Affinity enemies. While large and powerful, its movements are significantly slower than other foes, giving you ample time to prepare for its attacks. When the Beloved swings its axe forward, you can easily read the animation and dodge, which will enable Witch Time (a period of slowed time after a successful dodge). Be cautious not to stand too close, as the Beloved can perform a grab attack that reaches out behind it to damage you.
