Guide to Traveling to the Ticket Booth in BioShock 2, including how to hack Security Cameras and find the Telekinesis Plasmid.
Walkthrough
- 1Head forward and up the stairs, looting Lockers along the way.
- 2Continue until a Splicer closes a metal door to block your progress.
- 3Turn right to find a small security booth.
- 4Enter the security booth to find a Hack Tool and a Remote Hack Dart.
- 5Use the nearby Tool Dispenser to acquire another Remote Hack Dart.
- 6Look left to see a broken window with a glowing Door Control panel.
- 7Aim your Hack Tool at the Door Control panel and press “R2” to fire a Remote Hack Dart, initiating the Hacking mini-game.
- 8In the Hacking mini-game, stop the needle on a green zone twice to complete the hack and open the metal door.
- 9After the door opens, press and hold “R1” to bring up the “Weapon Selection” radial and select a different weapon.
- 10Proceed past the metal door to a disabled Security Bot.
- 11Approach the Security Bot and press “Square” to start hacking it. Hacked Security Bots follow you and shoot enemies.
- 12The Security Bot hacking mini-game uses blue bars; stopping the needle on a blue zone makes the bot inflict more damage.
- 13With the Security Bot, turn left at the propaganda wall and continue until you enter Train Workshop 6A.
- 14Progress into the workshop; after a train falls, two Splicers will attack. Kill and loot them.
- 15Turn to the wall opposite the workshop entrance to find a wall-mounted device with a medical cross – a Health Station.
- 16Hack the Health Station. Normally, Health Stations restore all Health for $15. Hacking lowers the price to $9 and kills Splicers attempting to use it. Landing the Hacking Needle on a blue zone causes the Health Station to drop a free First Aid Kit.
- 17Enter the room to the left of the Health Station to find an Audio Diary among other loot.
- 18Exit the room and look to the far end of the workshop for a booth labeled “Gate Control.”
- 19Enter the booth and flip the “Gate Control” switch. The televisions will activate, showing Sofia Lamb, who recognizes you and summons Splicers.
- 20The Splicers will shatter the window and throw makeshift grenades, setting the booth ablaze. The floor will then give way, causing you to fall into the ocean.
- 21Once you regain control, head forward, looting Corpses. Tenenbaum will radio you, offering guidance via your suit's camera.
- 22Continue along the path, crouching to crawl through small spaces.
- 23Enter the Atlantic Express Administrative Storage. Hang a left at the nearby Vita-Chamber.
- 24Through an opening, you will see a Security Camera. If spotted, it triggers an alarm and hostile Security Bots.
- 25Pick up the nearby Remote Hack Dart and use your Hack Tool to fire it at the Security Camera, initiating a hack. Hacking a Security Camera turns it friendly, sending Security Bots after enemies. A “blue bonus” extends the friendly alarm duration; a “red zone” triggers a hostile alarm.
- 26After hacking the Security Camera, it will spot and send Security Bots after two nearby Splicers. Loot their bodies and the Drafting room.
- 27Near the Security Camera is a “Bot-Shutdown” panel to instantly end a hostile alarm.
- 28Nearby is a hallway of Pneumo Tubes containing a new Plasmid in a red wagon.
- 29As you approach, Eleanor contacts you via a vision, stating the Plasmid is a gift and urging you to find her.
- 30Pick up the “Telekinesis” Plasmid. It is located for free at the Jet-Postal station in the Atlantic Express. It has a low EVE cost, only using EVE when throwing objects. Damage from thrown objects varies by mass and velocity.
- 31Backtrack to where you entered the Atlantic Express Administrative Storage room.
- 32Exit via the small tunnel leading to the ocean. Near some stairs, you will see a giant.
