Think of the Warrior as the classic tank, but with some serious agility to boot. They're the male counterpart to the Valkyrie, and while they share some similarities, the Warrior has a unique feel all his own. What makes the Warrior stand out is their ability to stay mobile while still being incredibly tough. You can weave in and out of fights, dodging attacks with lightning speed, and then dive deep into enemy lines. They're masters of close-quarters combat, rocking heavy armor, and using their sword and shield to deflect blows. It can be challenging to master, but honestly, it's pretty beginner-friendly. ### Profile When you start out, you'll be using a Longsword and Shield. This is your basic setup, focusing on melee combat. You'll be charging into battle, grabbing enemies, and smashing them with your sword, or using that shield to absorb some serious hits. You're versatile on the battlefield and can handle tough situations. #### Awakening Once you Awaken, you'll trade your shield for a massive Greatsword. This is where the Warrior really shines with raw power. You'll be swinging that huge weapon with incredible force, and when your rage builds up, you become a force of nature. Even without a shield, you can still block with the Greatsword, so you've got a good balance of offense and defense. #### Succession Succession brings you back to the Longsword and Shield, but with a much more refined and aggressive style. You'll focus your might on the Longsword, attacking with increased ferocity. You can take down hordes of enemies with heavy blows, all while staying nimble. These improved skills give you a great balance, making you super effective. ### History There's a bit of lore about the Warrior being tied to the Goyen Mercenaries, who were hired by Dandelion for a war against Larcsy, an ally of Calpheon. It's a cool backstory about a group of outcasts who found honor and purpose under a great swordsman named Goyen. You'll learn more about this as you progress.
