Complete the Borderlands Welcoming Committee mission by recalibrating defense turrets and fighting zombies. Learn zombie weaknesses and DLC access.
Walkthrough
- 1Upon arriving in Jakobs Cove via Fast Travel, speak to the white Claptrap at the end of the dock to receive the 'Welcoming Committee' mission.
- 2Follow the trail into a cave, encountering Zombies. Note that Zombies are resistant to Shock and Corrosive but weak to Fire. Defilers spew vomit that hinders movement and clutters the HUD (Heads-Up Display). Torsos are crawling zombie upper halves.
- 3Killing Zombies with a headshot (their weak point) drops [ZOMBIE BRAIN] items.
- 4Proceed through the cave and down the path not boarded up to reach Jakobs Cove.
- 5Leap onto the balcony to your left and activate the Gatling Turret (Turret 3).
- 6Fall to the ground and activate the turret near the south gate (Turret 1).
- 7Walk past the defunct bounty board and up the ramp on the west end of town to activate the final turret (Turret 2).
- 8Turn in the mission at the Claptrap located at the bounty board.
Tips
- Zombies are slow and can often be sniped from a safe distance, except for Defilers.
- After completing the mission, scale the roof of the building west of Lucky's to find a [RED CHEST].
- The DLC regions adjust enemy and equipment levels to your character's current level, so you can play at any point after reaching Level 10.
- DLCs are accessed via Fast Travel and are separate from the main world regions.
